A destination wedding in Sintra

When we received the mail from André, planning their wedding with Paula at My Vintage Wedding Portugal, one of the best wedding venues in Portugal and definitely a favourite in Sintra, we knew this will be one of the great ones. First of all, we LOVE receiving mails from the grooms – it’s a sign that both the bride and the groom are involved in the planning and both are super excited to get married – which is a sign of E M O T I O N S! The word that drives us at first place!

Second of all, we’ve been dying to book a wedding at My Vintage Wedding Portugal, aka The Quinta (Quinta da Arriaga), we’ve had our eyes on it for months before finally got the chance to work there (and this wedding ended up being our second one there, by booking an amazing last minute winter wedding first, but that’s another story / another blogpost eventually). This rustic venue is full of amazing corners to photograph, with its over 200 years of history every single inch of it has a beautiful detail that adds to a perfect mood for a rustic Portugal wedding. Also, definitely a plus, they do amazing flower arrangements on site, so if decoration is important to you, you’re definitely at the right place there!

Or should we say: THE PARTY? All caps, definitely!! It was a huge, huge, HUGE fiesta from the first seconds of the preparations to the last bits of dancing – Paula and André just knew how to enjoy their day to the fullest, family and friends included! So please prepare yourself to a long post, I swear I tried to include only my favourite pictures, but what can you do if everything was awesome?! These two rocked, even the couple pictures where other couples normally are on the shy side – Paula and André are born models and I enjoyed every single second of shooting with them! Attitude is everything, peeps! Enjoy!
